Resilience

<<< back

The extent of the deformation of the tyre is called resilience and characterises the driving comfort. Parameters are the cross-cut dimension of the wheel and the quality of the tyre material. The resilience diagram does not proceed linear but is degressive. Measured on a smooth hard road surface the resilience amounts to (wheel dia 200 mm, nominal load):

Indication: the values indicated are guide values to enable comparision of the different tyre materials.
